Sky Wings Aviation provides quality instruction and is recognized within the aviation industry. All our flight instructors have many years of experience flying and giving ground instruction. The majority of our instructors hold a Class 2 or Class 1 Instructor Rating. They come from a wide background in general aviation as well as from the military.

Aaron has a strong background of dealing with in-flight icing and real life emergencies that is passed on to his students. Conlan Besner An ATPL rated pilot, Conlan Besner flew in northern Canada before coming to Sky Wings. In addition to instructing from the private level up to multi-engine IFR, Conlan also flies for Sky Wings charter operations. Jesse Kornelson Jesse holds a degree in Aviation Management. In addition to pilot training Jesse has done high altitude hypobaric chamber flights. Matt Fernandes Matt grew up in Calgary and has flown from an early age. In addition to his skills as a pilot, Matt has done ATC training as an Air Cadet. He remains active with his local squadron, assisting with ground school. Sherry Cooper Sherry Cooper is the Chief Flight Instructor at Sky Wings Aviation Academy Ltd. Steward Van Male Steward Van Male is the Chief Pilot at Sky Wings Aviation Academy Ltd. In addition to his charter experience, Steward is also a Class 1 instructor.
