Requirments
  • Minimum age requirement of for student pilot permit is 14 years, while the minimum age for the private pilot license is 17 years old.
  • You must also pass the required medical exam, preformed by a Transport Canada designated examiner.
  • You must also be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
    **Please note to convert your license in India, you will need HSC
    (Math's/Physics/Chemistry)

Accomodation

  • The following is a description of residences for Sky Wings Aviation Professional Pilot students
    .
  • 7 units available on a first come first served basis

  • $350.00 per month (includes utilities) $350.00 damage room deposit.

  • Each unit has the following:
    • Kitchenette with microwave and fridge
    • Full bathroom

  • Within walking distance are a convenience store and a recreational facility.
  • The Town of Penhold is a short 5-minute drive from the airport, and the City of Red Deer is a 10-minute drive.
  • It is recommended that reservations be made at least three months in advance due to limited availability; the accommodations are made on a first come first serve basis.
  • However, living off campus will cost a great deal more, living costs will run from $600 to $1000 (Canadian) per month for food and housing. Costs vary depending on choice of residence.
